Meet Our Staff
Haddon Anderson

Haddon serves as the Executive Director, providing organizational leadership through staff development, fundraising, community partnerships, board development, and more. He previously worked at Lydia Learning Academy and a local church. He graduated from Cedarville University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology before earning a Master of Divinity from Moody Theological Seminary in 2014, with an emphasis in Urban & Intercultural Studies. Haddon and his wife, Julie, have been married since 2010 and have three children.
Tracy Breit

Tracy serves as the Development Director, providing strategic leadership for fundraising, donor engagement, and ministry advancement efforts. She brings over 20 years of ministry experience, including serving in pastoral roles at local churches and as the Executive Director of a faith-based nonprofit. Tracy holds an Associate of Biblical Knowledge from Ozark Christian College and a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Ed Math from Missouri Southern State University. Originally from Oklahoma City, Tracy eventually found her way to Rockford through the Lord’s leading, where she met her husband, Danny. They have been married since 2009 and have two boys.
Joey Clapp

Joey serves as the Campus Life Ministry Director, overseeing existing Campus Life locations and helping expand the ministry into new schools in the Stateline area. Joey graduated from Maranatha Baptist University with a B.A. in Church Ministries and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Biblical Studeis at Reformed Theological Seminary. Joey also has a background in church ministry and currently serves as a non-staff elder at his church in Rockford. Joey and his wife Leah have two beautiful daughters who have joined their family through adoption.
Angela Landerholm

Angela serves on the Campus Life team, focusing on building Christ-centered relationships with youth. She previously worked as a peer mentor at Rock Valley College, where she developed a passion for serving others and fostering meaningful connections. Angela first became involved with YFC as a volunteer before joining the staff team. She is excited to continue investing in relationships with youth and being part of what God is doing through YFC.
Connor LaBorde

Connor serves as the City Life Operations Director, overseeing operations and logistics at the City Life Center. He grew up in Rockford and came to faith at the age of 19, living to serve the Lord since then. Connor has a background in full-time ministry, with experience in youth outreach, homelessness outreach, and neighborhood outreach initiatives. Connor and his wife Sally have been married since 2014 and have four children.
Haven Casey

Haven serves on the City Life team, overseeing programming and logistics at the City Life Center during weekend programming. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry, with a focus on Student Ministry. Haven has experience working with youth from a variety of backgrounds, including serving as a church youth leader and intern and teaching classes for children of missionaries.
Kevin Anderson

Kevin serves on the City Life team, focusing on outreach and building authentic, Christ-centered relationships with youth. He brings over 30 years of experience coaching football and track and field, and mentoring and developing young athletes. He played collegiate football at the University of Northern Iowa, where he earned all-American and First-Team All-Conference honors. Throughout his coaching career, he has remained passionate about investing in young people and helping them reach their potential both on and off the field. Kevin and his wife, Melissa, have also served as volunteers with YFC, sharing a heart for investing in young people.
Olle Larson

Olle serves as the Director of Ministry, working alongside ministry staff and overseeing our three ministry models to ensure they are well supported and running smoothly. He graduated from DePaul University with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Psychology before earning a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 2021. Olle and his wife, Kelley, met through InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at Rock Valley College. They have been married since 2013 and have two children.
Zabrina Simonton

Zabrina serves as the Director of Communications & Events, overseeing chapter-wide communications and marketing, donor stewardship, and fundraising events. She graduated from Calvin College with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with an emphasis on Urban Studies. Prior to joining Youth For Christ, Zabrina completed a year of AmeriCorps service with City Year in Boston. Zabrina and her husband, Phil, have been married since 2020.
Cory Whitford

Cory serves with the Campus Life ministry, where he focuses on building Christ-centered relationships with youth. He played a key role in launching and developing Campus Life ministry within the Harlem School District. Cory graduated from Hope International University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies, with an emphasis in Eschatology. He is also a Board Certified Trauma Crisis First Response Chaplain serving locally. Cory and his wife, Xavier, have been married since 2003 and have two children and one grandchild.
J.R. Flannigan

J.R. serves as the Juvenile Justice Ministry Director, leading ministry efforts and relational outreach to justice-involved youth. He previously ministered in a variety of settings throughout Rockford and Chicago, including local church ministry and Project H.O.O.D, an organization focused on reaching and empowering young men. J.R. and his wife D’Lisa are honored to parent two daughters.
D’Lisa Flannigan

D’Lisa serves as a City Life Director, connecting with youth in local middle and high schools and building Christ-centered relationships with them both in schools and throughout the community. Her prayer is that these mentoring relationships will create opportunities for discipleship. D’Lisa and her husband J.R. have two daughters.
Kurt Pazdra

Kurt serves as the City Life After School Lead, developing relational outreach and programming to youth within City Life. He brings a combined 10 years of ministry leadership experience, including youth ministry, pastoral ministry, addiction recovery ministry, and outreach to individuals experiencing homelessness. Kurt earned his Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Kurt and his wife, Lauren, have been married since 2022 and have one daughter.
Gerald Coleman

Gerald serves with the City Life ministry, focusing on building Christ-centered relationships with youth and creating environments where they can experience the love of Jesus and discover their God-given potential. He has served in a variety of ministry and education roles, including youth advocate, pastor, teacher, university chaplain, and Executive Director of Mission Integration at Roberts Wesleyan University. He earned a B.A. in Religion & Philosophy from Roberts Wesleyan University and a Master of Divinity from Northeastern Seminary. He currently serves as Senior Pastor of Mt. Carmel on Chicago’s West Side. Gerald and his wife, Jessica, have six children and share a passion for helping people and communities flourish.
Courtney Hardmon

Courtney serves as the Director of Operations, providing administrative, organizational, and ministry support across the chapter. She oversees office management, volunteer and staff onboarding, financial management, and other chapter-wide operations. Courtney also provides support to our City Life team in a variety of ways. She studied Youth Ministry at Colorado Christian University and was previously a youth pastor in a local church.
Celine Newman

Celine serves as the Young Leader Pathway Director, developing programming that empowers and equips young leaders in their discipleship journey. She also brings extensive experience in camp ministry and plays an integral role in planning and implementing our summer camp. Celine graduated from Concordia Irvine with a degree in Nonprofit Leadership and is passionate about investing in the future of high-quality Christian leaders at YFC.
Bishop Groezinger

Bishop serves as a Campus Life Site Director, helping to launch the new Campus Life ministry in Freeport through relational outreach and programming that connects with local youth. He has several years of experience interning with a local Freeport church and also attended college in Freeport. Bishop graduated Moody Bible Institute with a degree in Biblical Studies. He and his wife, Jesse have been married since 2026.
Alyssa Newton

Alyssa serves as the City Life Ministry Director, overseeing the City Life team and building Christ-centered relationships with youth in local schools. She graduated Concordia University, Nebraska with a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Sciences and Music. Prior to joining Youth For Christ, Alyssa taught at St. Paul Lutheran School in Rockford and worked at Rosecrance.
Daudi Ngendahayo

Daudi serves on the City Life team, helping lead programming and relational outreach with youth at the City Life Center. He also assists with YFC FC, our soccer ministry. Prior to joining YFC, Daudi studied Business Administration, gained experience in networking and relationship-building, and volunteered with a nonprofit focused on connecting immigrants with community resources.
Cami Navarrete Rua

Cami serves as the City Life Latino/a Director, developing relational outreach and programming with a special focus on reaching Latino/a youth in Rockford. Originally from Colombia, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology there. Cami brings experience in cross-cultural relationships and youth ministry, having previously served as a youth leader and City Life volunteer. She enjoys walking alongside others in their personal and spiritual growth and is passionate about helping young people grow as disciples of Jesus.
Lauren Pazdra

Lauren serves in an Operations Support role, helping ensure our Campus Life and City Life facilities are well maintained, equipped, and ready for ministry. Having previously served on staff at YFC, she brings a continued commitment to supporting the mission of YFC. Lauren graduated from Trinity Christian College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Theology and later earned a Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership from Calvin Theological Seminary. Lauren and her husband, Kurt have been married since 2022 and have one daughter.
