In our prayers, preaching, leading, and everything we do, let us yearn for God’s glory.
Paul’s heartbeat is evident in Ephesians 3:20–21 where he says, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all that we ask or imagine, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” Paul’s ultimate aim is making God’s worth known everywhere, for all time. This is my aim as well!
Due to growing concerns surrounding the Coronavirus, the Youth for Christ Banquet on April 2nd has been postponed. We have tentatively rescheduled it for May 21st, but this is completely subject to the recommendations of national, state, and local officials. We will continually value safety and health as we make all organizational decisions. We will keep you in the loop on any further developments.
Anyone else ever been sucker-punched by what was written in a book? Just me? Well, as Haddon said a couple weeks ago, our team is reading the book titled “The Emotionally Healthy Leader” by Peter Scazzero. The first three chapters have been filled with wisdom and some incredible ways of reflecting on my life and my role as a leader.
